Pierce Walker-Howell

Georgia Institute of Technology
Pierce is a Robotics Ph.D. student at The Georgia Institute of Technology focusing on robot learning, multi-robot systems, and human-robot interaction. He has presented and published his current research at 3 top-tier robotics conferences. While Pierce was receiving his B.S. in Electrical Engineering at San Diego State University, he held the role as Software Lead and Electrical Lead for the Mechatronics Club, where he formed his love for robotics while building autonomous underwater vehicles. Throughout both his undergraduate and graduate studies, Pierce interned, and then later worked, for the Naval Information Warfare Center doing algorithm development for autonomous systems. In addition to his academics, Pierce loves activities such as trail running, rock climbing, and spending quality time with friends.
