Atlanta Chapter Scholar Alum Named Engineering Project Manager at Apple

Alexander Williams was an ARCS Scholar at the Georgia Institute of Technology during the 2010-2011 academic year. He completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech in 2011. Dr. Williams was recently named Alloy Engineering Project Manager for Apple Computer in the San Francisco Bay area.

Following graduation, Dr. Williams joined Pratt & Whitney in Hartford, CT, where he was a Senior Project Engineer and then Staff Engineer on advanced combustor technology development programs. While in academia, Dr. Williams co-authored academic papers in various peer reviewed journals including The Journal of Energy Resources Technology and The Journal of Thermal Science and Engineering Applications.
