Join us for a "behind the scenes tour"of Zoo Atlanta and lunch with Zoo Atlanta Director of Research, Dr. Joe Mendelson with Opening Remarks by Raymond King, Zoo Atlanta President and CEO.
There will be two tour options due to Zoo Atlanta space constraints:
- The first tour will be 10:30 am - 1:30 pm (lunch 12 - 1:30 pm).
- The second tour will be 12 - 3 pm (lunch 12 - 1:30 pm).
A minimum of 12 and maximum of 24 is required for each tour. Registration is first come first served for each tour time.
Please wear comfortable closed-toed, non-slip shoes as you will be walking/standing for the tour. There will be an optional, outside, short, uphill dirt walk (moderate intensity) to a special non public viewing area of the orangutans. Please also wear clothing that you are comfortable getting dirty.
