Giving to ARCS Foundation Atlanta assists students of high achievement in science, engineering and medical research. Scholars receive awards of $5,000-$10,000, which are renewable up to three years. Unlike most academic grants, ARCS awards are unrestricted, providing flexibility for the recipients to use at their discretion. Your investment makes it possible for ARCS Scholars to attend scientific meetings to explore ideas with cohorts, purchase equipment or computers for research, and travel to areas around the globe to study on site.

With your help, ARCS Scholars are working to create new knowledge and understanding that could one day improve stem cell transplants, identify causes of autism, develop renewable energy materials and accelerate other scientific breakthroughs.

All contributions designated for scholar awards go directly to scholar support - ARCS Foundation Atlanta does not retain any portion of donations for administrative expenses.

Gift Options

Scholar Award Fund Gifts of any size to the Scholar Award Fund support our scholars. Suggested donation levels are:

Global Impact Scholar (Named Award) - $10,000

Galileo Circle Donor (Named award for an Emory University, Georgia Tech, or University of Georgia graduate scholar) - $7,500

Einstein Circle Donor (Named award for a Morehouse College undergraduate scholar) - $5,000

Madam Curie Circle Donor - $2500

Century Circle Donor - $1,000

Endowment Fund Gifts to the Atlanta Chapter Endowment Fund ensure sustainability of the Atlanta Chapter for decades to come.

Sponsorship
Corporations and individual donors support ARCS Foundation Atlanta by sponsoring the Scholar Awards Celebration and other activities.

Corporate Matching Gifts
Many corporations encourage their associates to contribute to qualifying charitable organizations. A matching gift program offers a way to double contributions to their favorite organization. Contact your employer to determine if they will match your donation to ARCS Foundation Atlanta.

Gifts of Stock
Your broker can assist you in making a gift of stock following the Scholar Award Fund donation instructions or the Endowment Fund donation instructions. Contact our Treasurer with any questions at atlanta.vpfinance@arcsfoundation.org
