The 2019 ARCS Foundation All Members Conference (AMC) was held in Portland, OR, in September.  According to ARCS Foundation National President (and longtime Atlanta chapter member) Sherry Lundeen, “The programs all had impressive speakers with such interesting knowledge to impart, and they did so in entertaining ways.” 

Highlights from the meeting agenda included a robotics panel and a presentation about cancer research at the Knight Cancer Institute of the Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU).   

Earlier this year, Sherry issued a challenge to encourage ARCS members to attend the national members conference.  Because the Atlanta Chapter had the most attendees at the conference, we received a $2500 grant from National for the Atlanta Chapter’s scholar award fund!

The 2021 AMC will be in Atlanta.  Sherry encourages Atlanta members to serve on the planning committee.
