Our ARCS Annual Membership Meeting and Luncheon was on May 8 at the Ansley Golf Club, with 66 members in attendance.   A panel of our scholars engaged in an interesting discussion with Bill Liss, husband of member Debbie Liss, as moderator. Our scholars Logan Kavanaugh, a PhD candidate in microbiology and molecular genetics at Emory University; Tawfik Hussein, a PhD candidate in biomedical engineering in a joint Georgia Tech and Emory program; and Nicole Hood, a PhD candidate in infectious diseases at Emory gave very interesting presentations, and graciously answered the many questions our members had about their diverse disciplines.

Honoring Marcia and John Donnell for their unwavering support over the years was the highlight of our business meeting. Their generosity has been the cornerstone of our mission, enabling us to make a meaningful impact in our community as well as inspiring others to join our efforts. We are profoundly grateful for their continued support!
