Atlanta Chapter Appreciates its Donors

Posted on Friday, April 10, 2015

On Wednesday, April 1, the Atlanta Chapter of ARCS Foundation held its first Donor Appreciation Reception. The event was hosted by Georgia Tech President, G. P. “Bud” Peterson and First Lady Valerie H. Peterson at the President’s Residence on the Georgia Tech campus. All donors at the Century level and above were invited to attend. Also present were a number of current Georgia Tech ARCS Scholars and Dr. Alejandro Toriello, an assistant professor in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. Dr. Toriello was also an ARCS Scholar at Georgia Tech during the 2008-2010 academic years, and is now an ARCS donor. The gathering was thrilled to hear that Dr. Toriello would like to complete the circle by advising ARCS Scholars in the future. Planning is underway to hold a similar event next year.
