We have had a strong start in the new fiscal year.  Our last QuickBooks report reflects a net increase of $32,127 over the same time last year.  Also, we have had more December donations this year than last, going to Scholar Awards for November of 2025.  The bottom line is that the 2025 tally is ahead of last year’s.

Note that dues notices to members will NOT GO OUT in January, but in the second quarter.

Members will receive email donor-solicitation in February; non-member donors will receive solicitation via USPS. All donors will receive four items of correspondence pertaining to donations: 

1. each gift acknowledged from QuickBooks upon receipt
2. each gift acknowledged by formal letter from VP-FD, generated by Cathy Wahlen
3. all members to receive email solicitation in February; all non-member donors to receive solicitations via USPS
4. invoicing and tax letters handled by Finance

We continue to have a strong 12-member committee, meeting monthly at the home of Mary Dodson.  Our committee invited our 5 new members to attend at least one Funds Development meeting as part of their “freshman year.” 

And finally, our spectacular End of Year report to Herz prompted a very positive reply we’d like to share:
