ARCS Atlanta is honored to announce that Sally McDaniel is the recipient of the 2025 ARCS Light Award. Sally has been an active and dedicated member of ARCS Atlanta since 2009, consistently exemplifying exceptional service and leadership within both the Atlanta Chapter and ARCS National.
In the Atlanta Chapter, Sally served on its board as Vice President of Funds Development and has been an integral member of the Atlanta Funds Development Committee for over a decade. Her efforts to build and maintain significant individual and corporate donor relationships have had a lasting and positive impact on our chapter’s success. Sally has also contributed to the chapter’s growth and vibrancy by sponsoring five new ARCS Atlanta members.
At the national level, Sally has represented Atlanta on the ARCS National Board of Directors since 2016. She has served as Vice President of National Fund Development and has been a member of the ARCS National Endowment Committee for six years overseeing its growth from $2.2M to more than $5M today. Additionally, she has chaired the Long Range Planning Committee and has been an active and dedicated member of several other significant committees.
Currently, Sally continues her service as a director on the ARCS National Board and is a member of its Advisory Council. She chairs the Long Range Planning Committee and is an active member of the Nominating Committee, the Philanthropy Committee, and the Chapter Support Subcommittee.
Sally’s willingness to serve, her impactful leadership, and her unwavering dedication have earned her the respect of her peers and make her a worthy recipient of the 2025 ARCS Light Award.
