The Funds Development Committee (FD) is always thinking about ways to raise money. As we race toward our fiscal year end (June 30th) overdrive sets in!
So many wonderful women have been on this committee time after time. Their knowledge and experience are invaluable to our chapter. This is the time we will be calling our donors, foundations and corporations asking for money.
We will have a new scholar this year in honor of Jeanne Berry’s 90th birthday. Jeanne has been a member of this chapter for many years. Her contributions have been made in many ways and we are very appreciative of her. While it wasn’t a complete surprise, Jeanne was very excited and happy. We thank you, Jeanne.
FD is also looking forward to the SAC this year. As most of you know, it will be at the same venue. So many people enjoyed getting to mix and mingle with not only their scholars, but also friends. The SAC committee is working hard on this.
As this year flies along, I am always so grateful for all the wonderful women who give their time, money, and ideas to this wonderful organization.
