We are delighted to announce that Mary O’Connor, the Founding President of our ARCS Atlanta Chapter, will serve as the Honorary Chair of our chapter’s 30^th Anniversary Endowment Campaign. 

2022 will mark the 30^th Anniversary of the founding of the Atlanta Chapter of ARCS Foundation.  The chapter began when Mary O’Connor gathered 16 women, prominent in Atlanta’s cultural, educational, and civic organizations, to be the Founding Members.  These founding members invited their friends and colleagues to join as Charter Members.  By the time of the first Scholar Awards Luncheon held in October 1992, this young organization had 69 members.

In honor of the 30^th Anniversary of our chapter, we will launch an endowment campaign to raise over $400,000, which will put the value of our endowment above $1,000,000.  At this level, proceeds from the investment of the endowment can provide funds for scholar awards while still maintaining and growing the principal.
