Many ARCS members celebrated being together in person after months of zoom calls when the Old Board/New Board members convened at Leslie and Skip Petter’s home for a garden party on June 27th. Although we enjoyed the Space Age Soiree, the Scholars Awards Celebration, and the chapter meetings featuring Kantwon Rogers and Beth Cabrera which were all virtual, there was something very special about finally getting together with spouses in a social setting and catching up with one another. 

It was a lovely evening in a beautiful venue and we all realized that our esteemed president is an accomplished chef in addition to being a very competent leader. Our hope is that everything will soon return to “normal” and that the friendships and interactions that we all enjoy as a part of ARCS will resume in person rather than virtually. Thank you Leslie for treating us to a fun and celebratory evening with good friends.
