Thanks from Alum Eliot Quon, Postdoctoral Researcher at National Renewable Energy Laboratory
ARCS Foundation has been a highlight of my academic career thus far, thank you for the support!
On November 17, 2022, over 200 people attended the reimagined ARCS Atlanta Scholar Awards Celebration in the beautiful atrium of the Parker H. Petit Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience (IBB) at Georgia Tech. The 2022 SAC was a networking reception and social at which members, donors, and guests chatted informally with scholars to learn about their research
In 2022, ARCS Atlanta has 52 Scholars in many different disciplines. Second- and third-year scholars exhibited poster displays in the atrium of the IBB. The first-year scholars networked and chatted informally with guests. The University of Georgia (UGA) was our 2022 featured school. A video loop introduced each scholar and highlighted ARCS Atlanta and UGA.
ARCS Atlanta President Sara Jean Burke made brief remarks welcoming our scholars and guests and thanked Georgia Tech for hosting this event and allowing access to their beautiful facility and campus. A brilliant congratulatory video from UGA President Jere Morehead, was appreciated by all.

The work you (ARCS Foundation Atlanta members) have all done is tremendous, and I am so proud to be a part of that legacy. I hope that my work is making you all feel that there has been a good return on your investment.
"Thank you dearly for your generous contribution to my scientific development. Your contribution has had a profound impact on me at both a personal and professional level. It is a privilege to be an ARCS Scholar, and with this support I will continue to pursue research that aims to advance Neuroscience."
