Retirement Funds

Changes have been made recently to the Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) for an Individual Retirement Account (IRA). These changes have enhanced the tax advantages of making a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). All or part of an RMD can be gifted to qualified charities and avoid taxation on the personal income generated from taking an RMD. There are age and handling requirements that must be addressed by the donor. Please consider exploring this gifting opportunity with your financial and tax advisor.

ARCS Foundation Atlanta is a 501(c)(3) corporation. Donors may deduct contributions to ARCS Foundation as provided in Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.
