ARCS Foundation has been a highlight of my academic career thus far, thank you for the support!
It was a beautiful Sunday evening for the 2023 Fall Party at the home of Carolynn Cooper and Pratap Mukharji. President Carolynn Cooper welcomed the group of 90 guests, and VP Membership Liz Lauer introduced seven of our twelve new members: Jamie Deeter, Laura Draper, Meg Heyer, Eileen Higgins, Debby Kelly, Niv Persaud and Kathryn Richard. We missed Meredith Bell, Lisa Brown, Maggie Joslin, Suzanne Sullivan and Macie Thompson, but look forward to welcoming them at our meeting in January. Many thanks to Special Events Chair Laura Pease and Chair-elect Tricia Rosenbaum who created this fabulous end of summer barbecue!

ARCS Foundation has been a highlight of my academic career thus far, thank you for the support!
Let me start by saying how thankful I am for being selected as an ARCS scholar. I consider it one of my greatest achievements thus far and I am immensely proud to count myself as one of the amazing group of students that your organization selected to receive this award. I want you ladies to know you are doing an outstanding job! You all are embarked on a truly altruistic endeavor and it is my fervent prayer that this organization thrives for years to come.
"I was very fortunate to be selected as one of this year's ARCS scholars... I plan to pursue an academic career in chemistry... Your support will allow me to continue my biomedical research in developing novel strateigies to treat drug resistant cancers and cardiovascular diseases... Again, thank you so much for your support of the sciences and post graduate education, both of which are very important in keeping America competitive..."
