Lina Dimitrov

Ph.D. Student, Epidemiology
Emory University
First Year ARCS Scholar

Lina is an Epidemiology doctoral student at Emory University, focusing on the impact of environmental and psychosocial exposures on neuropsychiatric outcomes, and a CDC Fellow in the Child Development and Disability Branch. She previously studied Neuroscience, graduating with distinction with a B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University. In January 2020, Lina received an M.P.H. in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Boston University, where she was an Activist Achievement Award scholar. She was inducted into the Delta Omega Honorary Society in recognition of graduating in the top 10% of her class and her dedication to public health. In her spare time, Lina enjoys taking dance classes, mentoring undergraduate students, and spending time outside with her dog.
