The newly designed 2022 Scholar Awards Celebration (SAC) was a sensational success!  Now in its second year since being re-imagined, the 2023 SAC continues to be a networking social and reception featuring this year’s 48 scholars and their remarkable research.  Members and guests will mix and mingle and learn firsthand from the Scholars and their posters about groundbreaking and innovative science.

This year we have designed an evergreen SAC logo that is both distinctive and clean to illustrate the celebration of our Scholars; we envision the logo displayed in our communications throughout the year and for many Scholar Awards Celebrations to come. (SAC logo below)

We are fired-up to announce that “Igniting Innovation in Georgia” is this year’s SAC theme.  This theme ignites us as change agents promoting an interest in STEM to new members and donors, it inspires our Scholars to become future leaders who will tackle real world problems, and it reminds us that supporting one Scholar can spark 1,000 flames expanding their impact across the globe!  Here’s the image!

On Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 4:00PM-5:30PM, please plan to join the celebration at Georgia Tech’s Parker H. Petit Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience.  Please note the change in date and time; more details and an official invitation will come this summer. 

There are many opportunities for you to help pull off a seamless SAC.  The Ambassador roles will be outlined in an email that you will receive from Ann Taylor, SAC Chair-Elect, this Spring.  There are a few new Ambassador roles this year for which you may wish to sign up.
