ARCS Foundation Atlanta Introduces New Members

We are proud to welcome six new members to Atlanta ARCS this fall.  Susan McGonigle introduced them during the fall cocktail party, which gave many of us a chance to meet and welcome them personally.

Introductory information on our new members follows:

Indaue de Mello is Director of Global Microbiology at the Coca-Cola Company.   In this role, she leads microbiological science and technology to assure the safety and stability of the company’s extensive portfolio of foods and beverages. She also supports the community through preparation and delivery of street meals, sorting food for the Atlanta Community Food Bank, and working on the construction of Habitat for Humanity homes.  Indaue is married to Gil Boldt, a chemical engineer. They train for and compete in triathalons in their free time.

Laura Pease is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America.  She is on the Board of Trustees of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church.  Laura was formerly President of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council and has served in various roles with the Junior League of Atlanta. She travels extensively with a group of friends.

Susan Hawkins is an attorney.  She currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Shepherd Center Foundation as well as on the Board of Directors for the Mount Kenya Academy Foundation.  Susan has also served on the Board of Trustees of both Reinhardt University and Odyssey.  She is a former President of the Westminster Schools Parents Association and co-founded the Stephen Ministry Program at Northside United Methodist Church. Susan created and supports an annual award to recognize young women who exhibit current and future aptitude in science and math disciplines. She is married to Scott Hawkins, a real estate developer and attorney with The Hawkins Companies.

Angelle Hamilton is currently in management at Hailide America, an industrial distribution company, in joint venture with Hamilton International, an import/export company focusing on industrial yarns and fibers.  She is a Civil Engineering graduate from LSU.  Currently serving in a leadership role for the High Museum Wine Auction, Angelle has been involved in community work for the Brookwood Alliance, Junior League of Atlanta, First Presbyterian Church Preschool, and the Atlanta Ballet.  Angelle is married to Art Hamilton, Jr., President of Hailide America

Georgia Bentley is retired after 20 years at Verizon and legacy company GTE with management positions in operations, marketing, sales and human resources.  Prior to that, Georgia spent 8 years in administration at Duke and Vanderbilt universities.  She currently serves on the board and executive committee of Winship Cancer Institute of Emory, and she has held several leadership positions with the Junior League of Atlanta Sustainers. Georgia is active with the long-range planning committee for Eastminster Presbyterian Church.

Tracy McMillan is Senior Vice President of Investor Relations for Goddard Investment Group, a real estate investment company.  In addition, she serves on the 1926 Society Committee to raise money for The Lovett School and on the Board of Directors for the Trinity Early Learning Center. Tracy is married to Kelly McMillan who is Director of Strategic Planning and Budgeting for SAP Ariba, a software company.  They have two daughters,  Tori (11) and Lauren (9).
