The 2025-26 year for ARCS® Atlanta is off to a very exciting start! Just as many anticipate the start of a new school year with great excitement, our chapter looks forward to the Scholar Awards Celebration and recognizing our new scholars on November 12th.

The ARCS Atlanta Scholar Awards Celebration will be held at the Piedmont Driving Club, on November 12, 2025, 11:30 to 1:30 PM. It is a not-to-be-missed event as ARCS Atlanta will celebrate our outstanding scholars at Emory University, Georgia Tech, Morehouse College, and University of Georgia.
Anna Cole is an ARCS Atlanta Scholar Alum and recipient of the Glenn Award at Emory University. She continues to pursue her doctorate in Cancer Biology as a Laney Graduate School Fellow in the Paulos Lab at Emory. Anna was recently featured in Winship Magazine.
This past year, fundraising was very strong with total scholar donations of approximately $425,000. A record number of ARCS Atlanta members gave at the Century Level and several new non-members prospects were identified. ARCS Atlanta’s Fall Party “Autumn Supper in the Bayou” took place on Sunday, September 28th at the beautiful home of Mary and Tom Watson. Eighty members and guests enjoyed a delicious dinner of creole shrimp and chicken while listening to a jazz trio! A very festive evening!
