It’s time to think about new members for ARCS Atlanta. We all know that ARCS does meaningful work supporting young scientists but we also have fun and learn so much while doing it. If you know of any women that would enjoy being a member, please talk to them about joining. Sponsors have until May 1st to get applications to Carolynn Cooper, Membership Chair. Carolynn can send you the current application and a word document with information that new members will need about the financial obligation, time involved, and ways to support ARCS. Carolynn can also put together a new member bag with a yearbook, annual report, and some ARCS goodies if that would be helpful when you meet with a potential new member.
All new members need both a sponsor and a co-sponsor. Membership is happy to help identify a co-sponsor if needed. Please be aware that you may only sponsor (or co-sponsor) one new member each year and associate members cannot be a sponsor. However, associate members that know of a potential new member can ask for membership to find both a sponsor and co-sponsor.
And please remember that ARCS Atlanta dues are due April 15, 2026!
