At the 2026 Annual Meeting, the membership approved the addition of nine new members.  All these women have amazing backgrounds and are committed to the ARCS mission of advancing science in Georgia.  We hope everyone will welcome our new members and join us as we celebrate them at our Fall cocktail party.  Susan Anderson, Suzanne Donner, Joan Lorden, Kelli Carroll, Dr. Barbara Zehnbauer, Stacy Chick, Ashely Westphal, Dr. Tamika Lesege, and Sarah Ebersole make up the class of 2026.  We have numerous members to thank for introducing us to these wonderful new members.  The membership committee, made up of Carolynn Cooper, Sallie Topfl, Barbara Bing Pliner, Caroline Moise, Tricia Rosenbaum, Frances Swensson, and Ann Taylor, commented on how accomplished all these women are.  While some have had careers in science, others have business backgrounds and all have been involved in their community, working hard to make the future brighter for others.

Unfortunately, we also had five resignations.  If you know Sylvia Dick, Ree Edwards, Susan Hawkins, Beth Maguire, or Barbara Crum, please reach out to them and thank them for their service and support.  We always hate to lose members but are grateful for the opportunity to have served with them.
