Triennial Society Luncheon

On Thursday, May 21, Mary O’Connor, founding member of ARCS Atlanta, hosted a luncheon at the Piedmont Driving Club for those who have been members of the ARCS Atlanta chapter for at least 30 years, admiringly named the Triennial Society. Mary extended a warm welcome to these long-standing members, while Frances Swensson, President of ARCS Atlanta, shared a brief update on the “State of ARCS Atlanta.” Carolynn Cooper then introduced Kaylin White, a 2nd Year ARCS Scholar at Emory University, who gave a brief overview of her research on social determinants and racial disparities in sleep and how these impact our health. There was great interest by the group and many questions for Kaylin after her talk.
